Martin Law

Martin Francis Law, 83, of Goodyear, died March 1, 2015. He was born August 5, 1931 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Francis and Mary Agnes Law. He served in the US Army and was a honorary member of the Knights of Columbus in Oxnard, California. Born and raised in Illinois, he spent 40 years in California, 35 of which was in Oxnard. He moved to Arizona from California on August 2nd 2000. He was a clerk at Pacific Motor Trucking and a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Florine Law; daughter Diana Oswald and son-in-law, Don of Avondale, AZ; daughter Patricia Gutierrez and son-in-law Francisco of Ventura, CA; son Michael Law of Goodyear, AZ; son Kenneth Law and daughter-in-law Lynne of Grand Prairie, TX; sisters Regina Murphey and Lucille Huff; and 3 grandchildren, David Oswald, Jason Oswald and Kerri Law; 3 nephews Thomas Murphey, Paul Murphey, Mark Huff, and one niece, Mary Provencher. Martin will be missed by his family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, March 7th at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ.
