Sharon Marie Hert, age 69 of Buckeye, AZ passed away November 12, 2016. She was born November 15, 1946 in Streator, IL to Roberta Petersen. Sharon worked as a medical assistant before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and two black labs. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, watching Law & Order and cooking shows. Sharon was a wonderful woman who loved her family very much. She was the heart of her family and her passing has left a huge void in everyone’s heart.
Sharon is survived by her husband of nearly 53 years, Jerry Hert; daughters, Shelley (Greg), MaryJill (Clovice) and Christine; mother, Roberta Petersen; sisters, Beverly Cremer, Barbara Broughton; brother, Steve Martin; granddaughters, Sarah (Shawn), Brandi, Jenna; and three great-grandchildren, Kiara, Kaiden and Shawn, Jr. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 18, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ.
