Lori Pryor Kuba, 57, of Glendale, AZ and formerly of Buckeye, AZ passed away July 20, 2015, at Abrazo Arrowhead Hospital in Glendale. She was born June 16, 1958, in Hawthorne, CA. She earned a bachelor’s degree in religion from Van Guard University, a master’s degree in education from Cal State Dominguez Hills and a doctrine of education in institutional management from Pepperdine University. She also held California Clear Credentials in multiple subjects. She helped to open and teach at Faith Fellowship Christian School from 1982 to 1986 in Buckeye before returning to California, where she taught in the Los Angeles Unified School District. She taught at two other private Christian schools before moving back to Arizona to work with the American Indian College in Phoenix, where she was the chair of education. She was a member of the Harbor Church and Harbor Christian Center. She is survived by her husband, Michael Kuba; two stepdaughters, Angela and Emily; one stepson, Michael; her parents, Leon and Wanda Pryor; two brothers, Fred Pryor and Dan Pryor; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. July 27 at Lifeway Church, 18926 W. Latham St. in Buckeye. Burial will follow at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery, 23100 W. Broadway Road in Buckeye.
