Lenore Rose Meek

Born April 26, 1944 in Chicago, IL she brought great joy to her parents, Lenore Rose and William Augustine Hickstein. She was raised on the south side of Chicago and attended various primary schools before attending the prestigious Jones Commercial High School in downtown Chicago.

Lenore attended Moraine Community College and graduated with two Associate degrees. She worked for Triumph Metal Sources as a Personnel/Payroll Supervisor. Her favorite pastime was spending quality time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed practicing the art of shopping. She loved seeking out that special deal which brought forth an illuminating smile.

Lenore and Tom moved to Pebble Creek after Tom retired in 2010. She enjoyed line dancing and working as a volunteer with Kare Bears.

Lenore is survived by her husband of 53 years, Tom; her son, Edward Paul and daughter- in-law, Lisa Rolniak; and her grandchildren, Amanda Lynn, and Andrew Joseph Meek.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ.
