Kenneth Ray Sylvester

Kenneth Ray Sylvester, 54, of Litchfield Park, AZ died December 24, 2013 in Goodyear, AZ.  He was born July 22, 1959 in Fairfield, Iowa to Kenneth and Betty Sylvester.  Ken was a long-time employee at Palo Verde Nuclear Plant.  He loved his family.  He was passionate about hunting, The Minnesota Vikings, good food and enjoyed relaxing in the pines.  He was a man of many talents.  If something needed to be done, he would do it and if he didn’t know how, he’d learn.  Ken was a loving husband, son, brother, dad, step-dad and grandpa, who will be greatly missed.  He is survived by his wife Sharon, daughter Jennifer (Mark) Bales; son Nick (Kristen) Sylvester; sister Sue (Bud) Hart; brother Jay (Rhoda) Sylvester; mother Betty Sylvester; step-daughters Talisa Medina, Tiffany Lansford, Melissa (Kyle) Raffensperger, Patricia (Jon) Chapin; and ten grandchildren: Carson, Camron, Caleb, Jayden, Kaitlynn, Dillon, Jacob, Patrick, Jack, and Addilynn.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 30th, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S.
