Ken Korpon, 66, of Litchfield Park, AZ died May 2, 2014 in Goodyear, AZ. He was born March 16, 1948 in Long Branch, NJ to Nicholas and Margaret Korpon. He served in the US Army and retired as a Major. He was a humble man with high integrity. He received a bronze star in Vietnam. He was an educator serving as a teacher, principal and professor in Tuba City, Sanders, Pinon and Ganado. He loved all kinds of animals, never turning a stray away. He was a great husband, dad and papa. Ken is survived by his wife Deana C. Korpon; son John (Laurie) Waters; brother Steve (Celeste) Korpon; four grandchildren: Kerstyn, Abbigail, Jaidyn, Emma; and one on the way; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter. Services will be held at a later date.
