Kathleen Gusler

Kathleen Gusler, 47, of Goodyear, passed away, Saturday, September 22, 2012 at home with her family at her side following a battle with cancer.  She was born January 27, 1965 in New Jersey and lived there before moving to Arizona one year ago.  Kathleen was a retired Deputy Attorney General for NJ who graduated from Suffolk Law School in Boston as well as being a graduate from Drew University in NJ.  She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt who will be missed more than words can say.  Kathleen overcame many obstacles in her life and always made the best of every day.  She was a blessing to be around and she was a wonderful friend to many.  She is survived by her mother Beverly, brother Timothy, sister Colleen, nieces Christina and Alexis and sister-in-law Mary.  She is predeceased by her father George, brother Patrick and her grandparents.  A visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm with a 7pm Rosary Wednesday, September 26th at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear.  Mass will be at 10am Thursday, September 27th at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Avondale.  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
