Hulen Wayne Summers

Pete moved to Arizona in 1951. He retired from the Liberty School District working in the Maintenance Department. Pete served his country in the United States Army in WWII. Pete was a member of the Avondale Church of the Nazarene.

Pete was survived by Elsie, his spouse of 70 years; sons Robert (Jan) and Kenneth (Cindy); daughters Margie and Mary; brothers Buck and Fritz; grandchildren Jennifer (Doug), John, Paul (MiLee), Stacy (Randy), Smokey (Tammy), and Jason; great-grandchildren David, Brittany, Danielle, Bryanna, Robert, Danielle, Trey, Sabrina, JJ, Skyler, Braxton an Anabelle. Pete was preceded in death by his brothers John and Welborn; sister Ruth.

Public visitation is from 5:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday October 19th at Thompson Funeral Chapel 926 S. Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear, AZ. Burial Services are to be held at 10:00 am Thursday October 20th at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Services are being officiated by Rev. Stanley McElrath.
