At the age of 18, she moved to Akron, Ohio and worked at the Goodyear Aircraft defense plant where she painted the Vought F4U Corsair fighter aircraft. After the war, Goodyear transferred them to the Litchfield Park Goodyear Aircraft facility. Litchfield Park became their permanent home where they raised three children. Maxine loved her family with deepest devotion. She loved the town of Litchfield Park, her may wonderful friends and The Church at Litchfield Park. Maxine had a strong testimony of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She actively volunteered her time and talents to hospitals, children’s homes, her Church and her community. She was known for her grace and beauty as well as her kind and loving heart. Maxine is survived by her three children, Joseph, Martha, and Mary Ann as well as four Grandchildren and nine Great-grandchildren.
