Lynn Davidson passed away peacefully on November 11, Veteran's Day, at his winter home in Buckeye, Arizona surrounded by his family. He was born in 1926 in Emporia, Kansas. He had one brother and four sisters. The family moved to Craig, Colorado when he was in grade school and upon graduating high school, Lynn joined the Army Airforce and became a pilot. After WWII ended, he returned to Craig where he met and married Donna Hellbusch. They had three children, Michael, Cynthia, and Jane. In 1957, the family moved to Fairbanks, Alaska so that Lynn could study Geology at the University of Alaska. They promptly joined the University Community Presbyterian Church in College, Alaska where Lynn and Donna are still members. While attending school, Lynn worked at various jobs. After school, he worked for the Alaska National Bank, Claims Service of Alaska, and then owned and worked at Sunshine Travel. Lynn was a giving and non-judgmental man. He adored his wife of 75 years, his children, and grandchildren, and was a great friend. He will be missed by many.
