Daleyza Melinda Chacon

Daleyza Melinda Chacon, age 8 weeks of Avondale, AZ died September 7, 2018 in Phoenix, AZ.  She was born July 4, 2018 to Erick Chacon and Melinda Paredes in Phoenix, AZ at 25 weeks gestation, weighing 1 lb. 8 oz.  She was a little fighter up until the time she took her last breath.  We are blessed that God gave us two beautiful months to be with our precious angel.  She was the light of our lives.  Baby Daleyza, we will miss you forever, like the stars miss the sun in the morning skies.

Daleyza is survived by her parents, Erick Chacon and Melinda Paredes; grandparents, Martina Melendez and Rigoberto Paredes, and Maria Vallecillo and Roberto Chacon; step-grandfather Javier Flores; aunts, Lydia Paredez-Curley, Lynette Curley, Joana Paredes; uncles, Robert Paredes, Julian Paredes; and cousin, Lazirick Contreras.  She was preceded in death by her grandma, Maria Vallecillo; great grandma, Ofelia Melendez; great grandpa, Matias Melendez; great grandma, Herlinda Parades; and great uncle, Catarino Melendez.

A funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm, Friday, September 14, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ  85338.  Burial will be at 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 9925 W. Thomas Road, Avondale, AZ 85392.
