Bradley Edward Roberts

Chief Master Sergeant Bradley Edward Roberts, 49 of Litchfield Park, AZ died on December 13, 2015. He was born March 18th 1966 in Springfield IL. to Sharon Schone. At the age of three Bradley’s mother passed away, at this time Sharon’s Brother Melvin and wife Patty raised Bradley as one of their own children.

Prior to his eighteenth birthday Bradley enlisted in the United States Air Force. He loved being a soldier and was stationed in many foreign and domestic areas throughout the world such as Moron Air Base in Spain, Korea, Washington State, North Dakota, Florida, California and Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. Bradley worked hard in his career and rose to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant; however his crew always remained at the top of his priorities. He happily remained in the Air Force until his retirement in 2014.

Bradley loved NASCAR, the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Chicago Blackhawks, but he was the happiest in the company of his family and friends. Bradley was a thoughtful and caring person that looked out for the welfare and needs of others. Wherever he went he left friends in his wake. He believed that even the worst day could somehow become the best day and he lived his life in such a way that he brought happiness to others. With a smile on his face he would brighten the day for all that came in contact with him.

Bradley is survived by Patty (Schone) Williams and her husband Denny, one son Michael, three brothers Stacy (Robin) Schone, Skeeter (Susie) Schone and Rick Jones, three sisters – Christine (Christopher) House, Cindy Jones and Jackie Jones Charbonnet, one niece and four nephews. Bradley had two other young men in his life that he left in his passing that he was very fond of to the point they became like sons to him, Jordan Berkowitz and Justin Mason.  Likewise, Jordan’s daughters, Amara and Athena became like his granddaughters.   He also leaves behind his partner Otillie Kuenzli.

Bradley was preceded in death by his mother Sharon, Uncle Melvin and grandparents.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 pm Friday December 18, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear AZ.
