Betty McCoy

Betty (Nee Padfield) McCoy, age 91, formerly of Evergreen Park, IL died July 16, 2011 in Avondale, AZ. She was born May 15, 1920 in England to Harry and Kate Padfield.  She resided in Arizona for the past 21 years.

Beloved wife of the late Andrew.  Loving mother of Carol (Bart) DeLorenzo.  Proud grandma of Mark Penkala, Elizabeth (Leonard) Orlando, Jeanine (Timothy) Sterne. Cherished great grandmother of Andrea and Mehgan Orlando, LCPL Derick Sterne (USMC), and Annaliza Sterne.  Also loved by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 pm at Thompson’s Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, AZ, Friday July 22, 2011.  The final viewing will take place at 8:30 am at Thompson’s Funeral Chapel Saturday, July 23. A procession will follow to the church service.  The funeral service begins at 10:00am at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 400 S. Old Litchfield Rd., Litchfield Park, AZ .  The procession will then take us to burial at

Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale, AZ.
