Antonio “Tony” Elizardo, 80, of Avondale passed away March 11, 2012 in Avondale. He was born October 26, 1931 in San Antonio, TX to Antonio and Sabina Ruiz Elizardo. He moved to Arizona 60 years ago. He was an agricultural field worker before an early retirement. Tony was a loving and good father and a friend to all. He never met a stranger.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, Esther, Mary Lou, and Isabel “Chuvella”; 2 sons Sonny and Jesse; sister Sue Mondonado, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Tony begins at 9:00am Saturday, March 17 at Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, AZ. The service will be at 10:00am and a reception and continued visitation will follow at the funeral chapel until 1:00pm.
