Suzie Carter, beloved wife of David and friend of many, died of endometrial cancer at 15:35 on April 6 at the Hospice of the Valley in Surprise, AZ. She was born on May 24th, 1950 in Alsager, England to Philip and Brigid Corrigan and was raised and educated in the Staffordshire County city of Newcastle-Under-Lyme. She worked in the catering industry in London from 1970 until 1983. She met her husband David, a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps, in London and they returned to the U.S.A and were married in Alexandria, VA. They moved to Escondido, CA in 1988 and to Goodyear, AZ in 2003. Suzie is survived by her husband and step-children Ross, Elizabeth, and Alexander and their families, as well as her brother-in-law Jack and her sister Margaret and brother James.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am, Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ.
