Adolphus E. Lee, 82, of Buckeye, AZ died March 31, 2015 in Buckeye, AZ. He was born December 19, 1932 in Gracemont, Ok to Muncie and Willie Mae Lee. He served in the US Navy from August 1951 to June 1955 as an Airman-Aviation Structural Mechanic and was awarded decorations in China Service, National Defense, Good Conduct, United Nations, Korean Service. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, and a coach of Community Alliance for Special People. He is survived by his daughters Terry (Don) Rusinsky, Cathy (Bruce) Lessing, Cindy (Brooks) Whitford; sons John (Nan) Lee, Robert (Doris) Lee; sisters Avis Lee, Sharon (Tom) Eckerman; brothers Leo (Phyliss) Lee, John (Phyllis) Lee; special son Victor (Mila) Harmon; 15 grandchildren, 16 7/9th great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Zelda M. Lee; granddaughter Amanda Dyanne Whitford, and his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 8th at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ with a viewing one hour prior. Burial will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. In honor of Adolphus Lee, donations can be made to Valley Baptist Church in Tonopah, AZ, the Salvation Army and/or Arizona Special Olympics.
