Peggy was a member of The First Church of The Nazarene; she retired from Ford Glass; after retirement she loved to bake and cook and made caps for newborn babies and donated them to the hospital nurseries.
She is survived by her children, Linda Darlene (Ted) Cheney, George A. (Vivian) Huff, Jr.; sister, Helen Kent; brother, Carlyle (Gerry) Apple; grandchildren, Kelly (Brian) Stewart, Stephanie (Mike) Lyle, Andrea (Daniel) Logan, Casey (Tracey) Hightower; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Andrew Lyle.
A celebration of life will be conducted Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 2:00 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Blackman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
