Patsy Jean Lamb

Patsy Jean (Drake) Lamb, 82 of Goodlettsville, TN arrived safely home to her heavenly Father on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Pat was born August 23, 1938 in Springfield, TN to Russell and Pauline Drake. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, William B. Lamb (Bill), son Russell Brent Lamb (Laurie) of Texas and daughter LeAnn (Lamb) Ledbetter (Randy), 6 grandchildren William Hunter Lamb (Heather), Russell Hayden Lamb (Nicole), Caleb Joel Ledbetter, Jordan Daniel Ledbetter (Emily), Lauren Haley (Lamb) Barton (Joshua), Jonathan Luke Ledbetter (Gabrielle), 5 great-grandchildren, Noah, Emery, Knox, Lincoln and James and her sister Nancy Drake Bennison (Dwight). She is also survived by many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members and countless friends.

She is preceded in death by parents Clyde Russell Drake and Pauline Lemley Drake, son Bradley (Beau) Drake Lamb and sister Mary Jo Colquette.

Pat was a passionate, devoted follower of Christ, a voracious student of His Word and a dynamic witness to everyone she encountered. She desired to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with anyone she could and led many to faith in Him. She was an active member of Parkway Baptist Church.

Second only to Pat’s love for her Lord was her love for Bill and her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin.

Pat was a very active person who loved to stay busy with sewing, quilting, reading, and entertaining in her home. She loved making and giving gifts to anyone she thought could use them or would enjoy them. She also loved shopping and enjoyed a good coupon and/or bargain. She was a 1956 graduate of East High School in Nashville and remained in contact with many of her classmates, primarily “The Chicks of‘56".

Visitation will be Monday, January 18, 2021 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the same location, officiated by Rev. Matt Megginson and Rev. Ken Castleberry.

In lieu of flowers, Bibles may be donated in Pat’s honor through The Gideon’s International (gideons.org).
