Noal Dean Whitehead, a beloved father, devoted Christian, and passionate firefighter, passed away at the age of 86 on Friday, January 3rd, 2025. Born on Monday, July 4th, 1938, Dean was known for his unwavering faith, dedication to his family, and tireless work ethic.
Outside of his professional life, Dean had a variety of passions that brought him joy. He loved restoring classic cars, and was a competitive drag racer, arm wrestler, and marathon runner.
Dean is preceded by his wife Sue, son Michael, father Solon, mother Alice, and sister Charlene.
He leaves behind his children, Phil (Donna) Whitehead, Gina (Mark) Sanders, and Kristy (Danny) DeMarcus. He was a cherished grandfather to Kailey (Robin), Karley, Logan, Carter, Breanna, Tanner, Abby, and Jaden.
Family and friends will gather to remember Dean at a visitation Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 12:00 to 2:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home , 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Andre Dugger officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Devotion II at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
