Marion A Wingo age 96, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2020. She was born in New Orleans, La on January 5, 1924, but moved to her late husband’s home town of Nashville, Tennessee in 1953.
She was a long-term employee of the State of Tennessee Retirement Division and co-owner (along with her husband) of Union Hill Raceway in Joelton, Tennessee from 1958-1970.
Preceded in death by her parents Pierre Mountaut Jr and Josephine Ciaccio as well as her husband Robert M Wingo;
Survived by son, Robert J Wingo; grandchildren, Alyssa Phares, Robert J Wingo Jr., Catherine McMurtry, great grandchildren, Michael and George Phares, Clara and Georgeanna Wingo, Ella, Marshall and Susannah McMurty. And a host of family and friends.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date
