Lorena Faye Eastman Stone

Mrs. Stone, 84, was born Saturday, November 14, 1931, in Anstead, WV to the late Ezra Nelson Eastman and Blanche Gertrude Parrish Eastman Craig. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Monroe Stone and sister, Alice Gill.

She is survived by her daughter Lorenda Stone (Bob) Ashayeri; granddaughter, Loren; sister, Dora Lee Goodin, and many nephews and nieces.

Lorena retired from State of WV as a deputy circuit court clerk in 1974 when they moved to TN.

Lorena was Deputy Circuit Court Clerk in Fayetteville, WV for 17 years and then retired from the State of TN as an administrative assistant in the Department of Tourism after 21 years of service. Lorena’s strong Christian witness, sweet humor, and loving spirit will be missed.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 3, 2016 at 12 noon with visitation an hour before the service, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Goodlettsville, with David Goodin and Jack Stone officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Stone at a visitation will also be at Forest Lawn, Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, TN.
