He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda C. Mencer; daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Mull and Amy (Kevin) Hinkle; grandchildren, Allie Mull and Kody Hinkle; sister, Ruth Mencer; brother, Daniel Mencer; many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Forest Lawn Chapel. The interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are Larry Carlton, Nathan Carlton, Joe Mencer, Aaron Mencer, Mike Mencer, Miles Mencer and Kody Hinkle. Visitation starts at 11:00 am Tuesday until the service at 2:00 pm.
