Dorothy Lee (Dottie) Coker Dillard, age 78, of Madison, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2021. Dorothy was born Monday, February 1, 1943 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late James and Dorothy Mae Saddler Trent.
Dottie retired from Metropolitan Nashville and is survived by her sons, Gary Proctor, Jeffrey Coker; daughters, Yvonne (Randy) Coker, Kimberly Birdwell and her husband Dean; 20 year companion, Richard Allen; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, Tennessee 37072.
A a celebration of life will occur Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM 150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, Tennessee 37072 with Jon Briggs officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Pike S. Nashville, Tennessee 37216.
