Donald Gordon Hunter, age 83, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016. He was born Tuesday, December 13, 1932 and is preceded in death by is parents, Viola Briley and Clarence Lee Hunter; his children, Donald Hunter, Jr., Jack Hunter, Linda Smalley; granddaughter, Amanda Frensley.
A driver for Roadway Trucking for 30 years; Mr. Hunter is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Cuzzort Hunter, daughter, By Brenda (Alan) Smith; sisters, Helen Roberts, Fannie Chesteen; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be conducted 12:00 Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the chapel of Forest Lawn, Bro. Doyle Farris officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Hunter at a visitation, today, Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 and from 10:00 until service time at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, TN 37072
