David Lee Stephens

David Lee Stephens, age 79, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Dave was preceded in death by his parents Juanita and Bob Morris. He is survived by his wife Lucy Stephens; brothers John (Janis) Stephens, Bobby Morris and Rick Morris; children Kim (Glenn) Murphy and David (Melani) Stephens, Jr.; grandchildren David Stephens III, Gracie (Travis) Erdman, Courtney Murphy, Braylan Belew, Jessica Murphy and Brandon Mora; great grandchildren Nova, Easton, Luke and Kennedy; and former daughter in law Becky Mora. He was born November 5, 1941 in Beckley, West Virginia. He attended and even worked at The Glade Church for many years. He was dearly loved by family and friends. He was employed at General Motors for ten years, then went on to work at Service America in Nashville. He fought strong against cancer twice and won both times. He also survived a four way bypass. He was looked up to by many for his courage and strength. He could make anyone laugh with his great humor. We have yet to figure out his secret to success.

A visitation for David will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Goodlettsville followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
