Christine Louisa Walker

Christine Louise Crisp Walker, 83, of the Gallatin community, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022, at her home on South Browns Lane, surrounded by family.

She was born January 8th, 1939 in the Whittier community of Jackson County, NC. After graduating from Sylva Webster High School, she went on to Western Carolina to earn her Bacherlor and Masters degree in Speech Pathology while raising 5 children. After 30 years, she retired from Jackson County Schools.

She was the daughter of the late Hardy Orlando and Ollie Clementie Crisp. She is also preceded in death by her husband Thomas Walker and her daughter Toni Walker. She is survived by her 4 children, Tommy (Denise), Bill (Tammy), Daniel (Jennifer), Rebecca (Eddie), and 55 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She loved to go to church and hear and talk about Jesus. She was an avid shopper and she always looked her best. She loved music and hearing her children and grandchildren sing and play instruments. She had a heart of gold and she will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Christine will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM, Goodlettsville, Tennessee. A burial will occur at Union Hill Cemetery, Whittier, North Carolina.
