Brittany Jacqueline Oliver

Brittany Jacqueline Oliver was born on September 21, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee and passed away on January 10, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee. Brittany was a member of the 1967 Hume Fogg Technical and Vocational High School graduating class where she studied Cosmetology. She later became a medical billing and coding specialist and worked in that field until her retirement.

Brittany was a bright light in this world and a devout Christian. Her smile and laughter would fill any room she entered. She was a kind, caring person who was always there to listen and help others. She loved to spend time with her family and sing songs to her dogs.

Brittany married Charles Oliver in September 1992. Although they met later in life, their love stories was a beautiful one and were married for 28 wonderful years.

Brittany is survived by her husband Charles as well as her children from a previous marriage, Chris (Staci) Biggs and Tracey (Don) Robertson; Charles’ children Tim Oliver, Stacey (Rolf) Oliver-Knappe and Jennifer (Allen) DeShane; grandchildren Kaine Robertson, Brendan Robertson, Sarah-Katherine Woods, Michael Sullivan, Jasmyn Cornwell and Connor Oliver and great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters Judy Nalls and Forrestine (David) Snyder and many nieces and nephews.

Brittany is preceded in death by her parents Lucy and Hobert Winfrey, Sr.; her brothers Paul, Bobby, Hobert Jr. and Herman Winfrey; and her sister, Marie Sosh.

Visitation to be held January 14, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and January 15th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Goodlettsville, TN with funeral service to follow at noon.

Serving as pallbearers are Brendan Robertson, Kaine Robertson, Don Robertson, Scott Winfrey, Pennie Nalls, and JJ Winfrey.
