Sampre Matthew Landry

Sampre Matthew Landry passed away on November 5, 2022 at the age of 40. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA and was a current resident of Prairieville, LA. Sampre was the loving and dedicated father of his baby girl Logan Paige Landry. He is the son of Denise Boudreaux (Gayle) and the late Matthew Landry. Brother of Kyle Landry (Lindsey) and Joshua Landry. He is survived by his grandparents; Mary McDaniel “MawMaw” and Alyce Landry Bordelon “Nana” and preceded in death by his grandparents; Harold McDaniel “Gran”, Mackie Landry “PawPaw” and Eileen Landry. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Sampre always knew how to light up a room when he walked in. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved spending time outdoors fishing and hanging out with friends and family. He was most proud of being the father to a wonderful daughter, she was his whole world. His fun loving spirit will surely be missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a night wake at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 5:00pm till 7:30pm. The visitation will continue on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 9:30AM with a Funeral Service beginning at 10:30AM. Flowers are amazing and welcome but we are also collecting donations in lieu of flowers, all for the benefit of Logan Landry, Sampre’s world.
