Richard "Rickey" Miller Jr.

Richard “Rickey” Miller Jr., age 66 and a resident of Greensburg, La passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024. Rickey was a true man of his word. If he told you something, he meant it. If he told you he would do something, he did it. He loved his family and friends and would do anything to help them. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Jean Miller; daughter and son-in-law, Tracey and Jason Jarreau; son and daughter-in-law, Richard “Trey” Miller, III, and Tasha P. Miller; grandchildren, Jacob Taylor, Jacey Taylor, Gavin Jarreau, Jeanette Miller, Beatrice Miller, Richard T. Miller, and Easton Miller; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Larry Dunaway and Pam and Sandy Sherman and Ralph Walker Sr.; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Robyn Saraj, Vickie Goggins and Jerry and Cecelia Goggins; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Terry Lynn Miller; father, Richard Miller Sr.; and sister, Debbie Walker. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by family and friends. A memorial gathering for Rickey will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 3 PM to 4 PM at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, La 70737, followed by a memorial service at 4 PM.
