Richard William Keith

Richard William Keith passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the age of 75. He was a native of Garland, Texas and a longtime resident of Gretna, Louisiana. He is survived by his two daughters Sandra Lynn Keith and Laura Michelle Keith and his step-son Jerry Hatler. He is also survived by his brother Robert Hall Keith, Jr. (Judy) and sister Marcia Keith Alaniz (the late Nestor) and his former wife and lifetime friend Lou Ann Keith. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Kathryn Keith.

Richard was a US Navy veteran who proudly served in the Vietnam War. He then went on to become a commercial deep sea diver, a job he had for over 10 years. His love for being a family man then brought him to his second career as a CPA. He was a successful business owner until his retirement. When he wasn’t working he was always around the house fixing things or building things. He was always very talented at woodworking and working with his hands. Richard loved spending time with family, friends and of course his dogs. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
