A cancer research cell biologist, she passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 31 and a resident of Baton Rouge. Lisa accepted a position in Heaven at the right Hand of God and will be serving Him for eternity. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Tuesday, August 13 from 11 am until religious services in the chapel at 1 pm. She is survived by her parents, Lawrence Allen, Jr. and Mary Ann Smith Allen; brother, Lawrence Allen, III; and a sister, Staci Allen Magano and her husband, Jason.
