Frances “Frankie' Blount a lifelong resident of Colyell, La. passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Zane Blount; sons, Delton and Darvin Blount; 8 grandchildren, Chris Ellenberger and wife Kacey, Skylair Blount and fiance’ Josh Frazier, Chase Trosper, Zachary Blount and fiance’ Amber Sullivan, Kaylee Blount, Gracie Blount, Waylon Blount and Zane Blount; 4 great-grandchildren, Anna, Ayla, Emerie, and Zane; and Sister, Doris “Dot” Taylor. She was preceded in death by her Daughter, Dana Blount Trosper; Parents, Lutcher and Eva Averett Watts, infant sister, Bobbie Ray and Brother-in-law, Billy Taylor. Services for Frankie will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Colyell Baptist Church from 10 am until the funeral service at noon. She will be buried in Colyell Community Cemetery.
