Eva Marie Moran, a native and resident of St. Amant, LA passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the age of 95. Eva will be remembered for her love of flowers, sitting on her favorite swing and for the love she showed her children and grandchildren.
Eva was a dedicated member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was very involved in the CRC. She was a loving mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband Morris P. Moran; parents, Joseph Lambert and Frances Dupuy Lambert of St. Amant; sister, Mae Everett; four brothers, Silas, Emery, Elmo and Evans Lambert and one great- granddaughter Shelby Bourgeois; best friend Ronie Tureau and her beloved cat Bear.
She is survived by her children; Eugene Moran and wife Mary, Rochelle Bourgeois and husband Terry, and Randy Moran and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Chad Moran, Tonya Moran, Trish Bourgeois and fiancé Clay Young, Brandt Moran and wife Kelli, Shelly Anthony and husband Paul; great-grandchildren, Raegan and Aubrey Bourgeois, Sheyenne Baker, Kensley and Berkley Moran, Dustin Gueldner, John and Piper Anthony; great-great grandchildren, Loki Naquin and Lyra Collins.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation which will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The visitation will resume at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00. The entombment will immediately follow in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
The family would like to thank Pinnacle Hospice especially Mrs. Ann and Mrs. Annette, Council on Aging especially Mrs. Tory and Comfort Keepers.
The family would like to say a special thank you to her daughter Rochelle Bourgeois for her care over the last two years.
