Stephanie Lee Rasmussen

On September 15, 2010, Stephanie Rasmussen peacefully joined Our Heavenly Father surrounded by her family at home. Stephanie shared her life with her loving husband of 41 years, Randy Rasmussen. Stephanie and Randy traveled the world with the United States Marine Corps raising their three children. The adventures they shared will be treasured forever.

Stephanie was a most devoted and proud mother and her family was her greatest joy. She sparked happiness and laughter throughout all the lives she touched. She passed her amazing gifts of sewing, gardening, and creativity on to her children and grandchildren.

Stephanie spent her younger years in Pueblo, Colorado, graduating Pueblo County High School in 1970. When her husband retired, Stephanie and Randy returned to Colorado, where she worked as a revenue auditor at Black Hawk for 10 years. She loved taking time to enjoy the peacefulness of the creek in her back yard when she was not working.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother,sister, aunt, and friend. She will be forever missed by all who were privileged to be a part of her life. Stephanie is survived by her life- long love, husband Randy, son Sam (Marny), daughter Jennifer (Rob), daughter Jaime (Ben), grandchildren Chad, Emily, Zachary, Zane, and Emma, sisters Cindy and Tammy, and many loving nieces and nephews.
