My deepest sympathies for your loss. I'm sorry I didn't know of this earlier.  Having lost my Dad when I was 35, I can promise you the sorrow does heal, with lovely memories!  Bless and keep you all.

My deepest sympathies are with the Miller family during this challenging time.  I do know in my heart that this strong family will be all the stronger as a result, as they have now gained the most special guardian angel they could be granted.  For the Miller family, remember that this is not a farewell, rather a pause in time until you are reunited once again.  His voice may not be heard right now, but his spirit shall remain strong and shines on in those he reluctantly left behind.  Take the very best of care, and know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Don and Darleen and family have been a part of my life for 40 years. I can't think of Don without remembering that wonderful laugh of his. He could have a roomful of people all laughing in mere seconds.  My favorite picture of Don is him sitting in front of a heaping platter of Alaskan King Crab legs, eyes wide with enjoyment. The man could eat! Lots of wonderful memories come crowding back. His humor and tenacious courage will not be forgotten. Tom and I send our love to Darleen, Donna, David and Deb.

The Divine has called another Angel home. I know all of you will miss his presence but he is now watching over his beloved family from heaven. Smile when you think of him, cherishing all the beautiful memories that you have.

I remember when we all went to the Air Force-Navy football game.  We sat in the Navy section and Don made us root for Navy and stand the entire game--absolutely no choice about the matter.  

He was just such a nice person who will be missed.  Our deepest sympathy to all the family.

I worked with Don on and off for the last 4 years and I always enjoyed his company. His attitude was always positive no matter what he was dealing with. 

After our departments were reorganized, I had little contact with him, but would stop by every couple of weeks just to have a conversation with him. 

We talked about a lot of different things; the military, politics, science, family and many other subjects. We always had an interesting exchange of ideas and I enjoyed his company. I will miss him very much.

I enjoyed our years in Adak, Alaska with Don & Darleen.We had many great times together.  I was always a loser to Don when we wagered a fishing rod and reel on the Rosebowl games.  One such Rosebowl, we enjoyed the weekend in their RV celebrating New Year's Eve and a leisurely drive.  Many good memories.  God bless you Darleen and family as we celebrate his life.  Am sad I couldn't be in attendance at his service.  Blessings, Lisle Stewart.

Ahhh. Donald Miller. What a fine man. I always felt loved by this man. Respect and admiration for him and his family fill me with love, respect and gratitude. 

Thank you Donald Miller for coming into my life.
