My name is Olivia and I met Prabhati in the office of Armstrong elementary.  She was signing her son Micah up for 4th grade there and I was already enrolled in 6th grade there but turning in papers. As she and my grandma started talking, Prabhati volunteered to tutor me because I missed much of school due to physical health issues which lead to me getting behind on my work. As she started tutoring me, she became more of a mother to me than a tutor. She took me to many places I got to make so many memories with her at. Fast forward to almost a month ago, I never thought I’d have to fake a smile or keep myself distracted just to keep me from crying for her absence. I found out the day after her passing that she was no longer with us. As my grandma told me in our kitchen, I refused to believe that the purest, kindest person in my life wouldn’t be here anymore. As I acted as if I wasn't about to break down in tears, I ran to my room and dropped to my knees crying silently. Every second of the day I replay all of our memories together wishing that we could have made more. I regret and will live my life blaming myself for not visiting her more often. She had a place in my heart that no one else will ever have. She believed and loved me when I couldn’t believe or love myself.  When I first met her, I knew I wanted her to be by my side forever, but as she started to be in more pain I knew she wouldn’t suffer any longer. I thank her for all of the love, laughter and guidance she brought into my life. I will always remember her for her kindness and strength. Know that Prabhati will always be remembered and loved in a special place in my heart.

I will forever hold in my heart our college days and our ups and downs as sisters🤍 Having mochas at Cup of J, getting our hair done together, dragging you to all the mediterranean spots to eat and dance the night away, sharing clothes, you cooking me yummy meals, crying and laughing about life. I can truly go on and on. Your smile and hugs always put a smile on my face.

My deepest condolences to the Crosniel family. I worked briefly with Prabhati at Hollingworth a few years ago. She always had a smile on her face and loved to joke around. I will always remember her as a kind soul. May she rest in peace.
