Thanks for all the funny memories I have of us at APU. You were a good friend and I'll cherish the memories I have of you. Your wife and family will be in my prayers.

Hey Brudder,
I miss you. Not sure if I will ever laugh as hard as I laughed when I was around you.  A lot of brothers love their sisters, and protect them. But you were so much more than an average brother. You saw talent in me and Theresa and encouraged it, invested in it, and helped us cultivate it. You bought me my first bass, got me lessons, and gave me the chance to play for Jesus in the youth worship band. You helped me be a drummer. I excelled and became a drum line captain just like  you. You came to every show, competition, concert, play... etc. Your words about me in my wedding video brought tears to my eyes, and I helped me understand how much you loved me, and how proud you were of me. I can't even tell you how much that means to me. You figured it out bro. You figured out exactly how God wanted you to live. You served so many and I will learn from that and continue on in your footsteps. I know in Heaven there is no time, and God showed me a picture... a picture of us right on your heels as you enter into eternity! We have to endure time here on earth, and wait... but my spirit knows we are all taken up in an instant... i live in that comfort... we're right behind you bro!!!! I miss you!! I love you and pray I will endure this earthly time with grace and a life pleasing to our heavenly father, just like you.

You were the best Mark. You inspired so many, and were always the person anyone could rely on.  It was an honor today, I have so much to say but can't find the words.

Mark, your constant acts of love through the giving of your time, energy and talents to each person you came into contact with was the mark of The Maker. People who met you never had to question the presence of God in your life because it was seen immediately through your actions of accepting the marginalized, encouraging the discouraged, and lifting up the voiceless in this world. You brought light to a dark world and flavor to a sometimes dull world. Your impact in the lives of individuals will echo through generations. Love you Mark and you are missed greatly. Thank you for your gift of music and drumming.  If it wasn't for my mom finding your business card for drum lessons, I would never have met such a great man and teacher.  My first drum teacher who taught me to read and write music as well as inspired me to practice and be the drummer I am today.  You helped pave the way for my music career at Cal State Fullerton.  Hoping to be an electrical engineer and have my own band one day.  Your legacy will live through your students.  Thank you.

I am forever grateful for the way you loved the Lord, your family, my sister, and people.  Thank you so much for making my sister so happy. Mark is a wonderful cousin, I have missed him over the years, but cherish the many good times we had growing up together.  We would spend the night over his house when we were kids, for breakfast he would always dip his toast into his milk or cereal, it grossed me out but it was funny.  He is a great drum player and I know he is playing for the King of Kings right now!  I can't wait to reunite in Heaven for eternity, it's not far off.  Love you Mark!

The first time I remember meeting and getting to know Mark was at Micah and Theresa's graduation from APU. We all went to Gene and Tricia's afterward, where we turned on the music and (attempted to) swing dance. Even with all the lessons we had taken and the practicing we had done, Mark danced circles around us. Another favorite memory is one night at Micah and Theresa's, and he and Ann came over and taught us the "bowl game" and the "drawing game." I have never laughed so hard. He was such a fun and funny person. We will miss seeing him when we travel to So Cal.

Everyone knows what huge ANGELS fans Ann and Mark are. About 6 months ago I was driving down Foothill in Claremont and I noticed a pickup truck in front of me with the biggest "A" (for Angels) decal in the back window. I just KNEW who was driving that truck. A great guy named Mark Aragon. R.I.P. my brother in the Lord. You will be greatly missed.

I had not known Mark as long as many of his friends however I just wanted to share my thoughts about this very special man. Mark was the first person who gave me an opportunity to play jazz music in America, and was a great band leader, musician and human being. Generous, kind, supportive and extremely humorous, I am saddened beyond words by the news that he ultimately was unable to win his battle with cancer. I am sure his spirit will live on in the great memories others will no doubt have of him. He certainly made an impact on people while he was here and touched the hearts of many. Mark, may you continue to drum to the beat of God. My sincerest condolences go out to his wife Ann and his family.

I remember the first time Doug and I heard about Mark, how you met, and that we were going to be introduced to him...I was thinking he BETTER live up to the expectations we had in our minds because you, Ann, deserved nothing but the best. He DID! We met with you both at our house and fell in love with how dedicated Mark was, we already knew you were, but we were then at peace with how much he loved Christ, and You. So, lets put it this way, we were so confident that he was the one for you that we made the trip from GA to CA to attend your wedding.  It was simply elegant and beautiful. We looked forward to each trip out we made to meet you guys for breakfast and experience firsthand how that flame kept burning. We love you both so much. We still can't get over the fact that we will have to wait to see Mark again, but we know where he is and that we will one day all be reunited again. We'll have breakfast lol"

Hey Mark, Sorry that you had to leave us to go home to our Lord but it was an awesome time meeting you and hopefully you will watch over us each and everyday. Rest In Peace my Christian Brother.

I also know that Mark received an abundant entrance and celebratory welcome from Jesus, our Lord and Savior. The tears I shed and the overwhelming emotions I experience are only because I miss his presence with me.

From the moment my husband and I met Mark we knew that he was the one for Ann. He had an ease about him that made you feel like you had known him forever. His love for God and undying loyalty to baseball were hallmarks we knew would suit Ann well. We saw in Mark a man who was loyal, kind, gentle, and most of all an amazing friend. He loved Christ and it showed in his relationships with others and most of all his relationship with Ann. Words can't express how much he will be missed. The world has lost an exceptional man and heaven has gained a tremendous angel. You will be greatly missed.

My heart goes out to the Aragon family and all who knew Mark. He was an incredible man. I would love (though I pretended to hate) when Mark would come by and poke fun at me for my Spider-Man obsession. Mark was on the Lone Hill team with me so I had the distinct pleasure of meeting with him regularly regarding service there. And as CCV meetings are prone to do, tangenting about every other irrelevant thing under the sun. I'll miss those meetings, I'll miss seeing his face around the office, and I'll miss everything about Mark that made him one of the most incredible, loved people I've ever met. But especially when he'd walk by my desk for no other reason than to tell me the corniest joke I ever heard and then just walk away, somehow leaving me laughing until my eyes watered. I love you Mark!
