Willis "Bud" Moore

Born January 24, 1930 in Ajo, Arizona, Bud was always a hard worker with a generous heart. He taught himself to cook and was proud of his time as a cook in the national guard as well as head cook in many restaurants. He married Arvilla Crow February 6, 1952 and raised two daughters, Juanita and Karen. In 1964 he began his career in mining working for Kennecott Copper and residing in Kearny, AZ. Eventually he retired in 1997 from Round Mountain Gold in Nevada and he and Arvilla returned to Kearny.

Bud loved children, animals and was generous to help anyone he felt was in need. The "welcome" sign was always on his front door. He had an amazing sense of humor and his smile lit up his entire face.

He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Karen. He is survived by his wife, Arvilla, his daughter, Juanita, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.

A graveside service with inurnment for Willis will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
