She was preceded in death by her parents; Arnold and Kathryn Doom (Everett) of Youngtown, Arizona and sister

and brother-in-law; Pegi and Bill Cantrell of Fort Worth, Texas, and son-in-law; Jerry Merritt, of Mustang Oklahoma.

Survived by John Peters of Peoria, Arizona and four children, Son; Robin “Red” Peters, daughters; Iris Poling (Tim)

of Peoria, Arizona; Kathy Merritt of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Suzy Cherry of Sun City, Arizona. Sixteen Grandchildren:

Robbi, Tracy, Bobbi Jo, Tammy, Billie Jo, Lori, Tina, Dawn, Gary, Caroline, Jessica, Jason, Craig, Johnny, Janet, and Mike.

Thirty-five Great Grandchildren and Four Great-Great Grandchildren. Virginia was a lifetime member and past

Worthy Matron of Eastern Star, Laurel Chapter 20, Glendale, Arizona. Virginia worked for Civil Service for many

years, afterwards opening her own Wedding Business “Ye Olde Wishing Well” in Glendale Arizona.
