Roy David Garcia, 68, of Phoenix, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019, in Glendale, Arizona. He was born on September 3, 1951, to the late Roy Garcia and Victoria Armijo Garcia in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Carl Hayden High School, graduating class of 1970.
He served as a postal clerk for twenty-one years. Roy enjoyed traveling, movies, attending concerts, and trips to Las Vegas. He was also often found with the newest iPhone as he was an electronics enthusiast.
Roy is survived by his spouse, Rhonda Garcia, sons Nicholas and Angelo Garcia, daughter Regina Hernandez-Garcia. As well as their spouses, Angela, Guadalupe, and Peter. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Alicia, Gabriel, Nicholas, Jocelyn, Ivan, Angelica, and Olivia and three great-grandchildren Ezra, Caroline, and Zamarria.
Roy is also survived by his siblings, Roberta Samora, Ernie Garcia, Debra Garcia, Barbara Garcia, Mark Garcia, and Katrina Garcia. Along with numerous beloved nieces, nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, 10:30am at Greenwood Cemetery
2700 W. Van Buren Phoenix, Arizona.
