I miss you Dad, more than you would ever imagine. We didn't see each other often but I knew you were there.  I loved seeing your name on my phone when you called, and was always anxious to hear that voice that  was yours and yours alone.  Kati, Lea and I will always love you so much.  We are here for each other and will never let you be forgotten. Sleep well and be at peace our handsome and courageous Marine.

  In combat at 19...I so trusted, so looked up to Sgt. Prince...I'd gladly follow him through the gates of hell. Being reunited with him over 30 years later was one of the happiest days of my life.

Phil was so much fun to be around.  I always felt welcomed in his presence.  You will be missed.  Rest in Peace.

I was honored to have the opportunity to be a part of Phil's life and his wonderful family.  My daughter and I have fond memories of our time with Phil.  He is a true hero and will be missed dearly.

PHIL was Major Phil to me and my husband, Don R Duggan,also Marine. My husband was a Chief Hospitalman. His kindness to Don in his last days were such a comfort to us.  They talked and also cried together(they hid  it quickly),remembering Vietnam. God bless you and know he was so fondly remembered. Semper Fi

Mr. Phil was a hero in so many ways. He received many ribbons and medals for his dedication as a Marine. He also received many honors and medals as a husband to my sister, uncle to my children, godfather to my grandson and a big brother to me. We have so many wonderful memories from the trips to Rocky Point, Payson or just family gatherings. Phil would always keep us laughing or in tears as he shared his stories. Our hearts break as we say good bye to Phil, Uncle Phil and Boppy but his memories will live forever in our hearts.  We love you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Doc Gommel spoke very highly of Phil and his service together in CAC 2/4.

Phil was always the mentor, the sounding board, the listener, told you the truth, straight shooter, and had your back. We'll miss his great stories, from DC to the desert, from one security detail to the other, and from one retail store to the other. Phil was the common tread weaving between many relationships, he built many bridges and those bridges have taken him home to be our  final sentry at the gate to watch over us. God Bless Phil Prince!

Our prayers go out to this wonderful mans family.  Phil was a wonderful friend to my brother Steve who passed away November of 2011. Phil was a Marine, Steve was Navy. We apppreciated so much the wonderful things he said at my brothers funeral. Semper Fi Marine!

The lose of our "Skipper" is felt by all who served under him at 1st Force Recon. He was the finest Commanding Officer I ever had. A true Leader and a Mentor to us all.My condolences to the Family. I wish you "Fair Winds And Following Seas". Till Valhalla Sir! Semper Fidelis.
