Lupita, my friend from the State of Arizona for many, many years you have not been forgotten by me it has been a couple of years I believe since your passing. 

 We know you're in heaven on this Christmas holiday looking down on all of us in Arizona, especially many who have known you at the Department of Health in  Arizona for so many years.  

My friend, my thoughts are with you always, and today, God bless you in heaven and your family here this Christmas season.

I love you Mom...  You raised two honest men! And a beautiful daughter. You will always be in our hearts mamita.  I will take care of my brother and sister, I promise. I know you are happy with tatita and one day we will meet again. 💙 

Oh my gosh.  I was so very shocked when I learned of this.  Who could harm such a beautiful soul?  I met Lupita at ADHS and instantly lived her bubbly personality.  She was beautiful inside and out.  She loved her children dearly and always spoke of them with pride & love.  I remember Lupita dancing at one of our events and she was magnificent.  May her soul be at peace.  My condolences to her children who now have to without their beautiful mother.  She has her Angel wings and will make heaven a better place.  

My Dear Friend,

Lupita You will always be remembered for your affectionate laughter, bubbly personality. I still remember our conversations about your kids.  They were the world to you.  You had such a positive outlook on life and a bright future. I’m still trying to get sense that you are no longer in that seat but I take comfort in these words…… The resurrection hope is real.  Words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, However, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return you.  Jehovah God promises that he will resurrect all those in the memorial tomb. (Isa 26:19) One day we will see her smiling and being joyful again. …..Instead of having to weep with those who weep all earth’s inhabitants will “rejoice with those who rejoice. (Romans 12:15) This gives me comfort that I know for sure I will see my beautiful friend again.

Lupita and I knew each other many, many years at the Arizona Department of Health Services and when she worked for the Attorney General's office. Her birthday is this Friday I always tried to have lunch with her on her birthday If I was not at work and or in the field. 

She is a lady that always cared and made you laugh.  She invited me to her home for the Superbowl's through the past many years. Her family and I loved competing for who would win the Superbowl.  

This February 2022 when I am watching the Superbowl I am sure she will be rooting for her team in heaven as I will be for the Patriots.   

Lupita my friend will always be missed, always my prayers for her and her family and her mom. 

God Bless you Lupita rest in peace see you in heaven my friend.

Dear Maria,
You were the first person I saw everyday coming to the office and usually the last.  You always showered us with your joy.  Thank you so much for always laughing when I tried to buy movie tickets at the lobby window and listening to my terrible rendition of "Maria" from West Side Story.  I will never hear that song without thinking of you.  Thank you for bringing so much joy to all who encountered you and called you friend.

 I can never forget the first day I met you and hired you to be on my team. You were so bubbly and exciting that I knew you would be a blessing to our group, and you were.  Everyone that met you fell in love with your excellent personality .  You were so helpful and kind to customers at ADHs. I couldn't tell you how many kudos you received.  You were an awesome employee and friend to everyone you met and you will missed by all who loved you. I will always remember you my friend.

My memory of Miss Lupita will always bring a smile to my face...always bright...loving...fun to be around....You knew when she was in the room or somewhere near by! Definitely a presence....a beautiful smile to go with her big heart! When I used to run the front reception desk for the State, providers would come in and ask for her....."where is Lupita?" I had to say she was working else where but had nothing but good things to say about her...she will always be remembered! 

My deepest and heartfelt condolences go to Maria's family and friends. I did not get the opportunity to meet Maria in person. Everything I heard about her was that she was an amazing person with a great light about her. I am the oldest sister of Chris Child and this is a horrific time for both families. We are devastated and at a complete loss to understand this tragedy. My prayers go for the recovery of Maria's mother.

Heaven has definitely gained a beautiful angel with a beautiful soul. Maria had such an infectious laugh you couldn't help laughing with her or at least cracking a smile.  She had a gift of making people feel special and making any day brighter. I dont think she ever had a bad day and if you were having one she had a way of making you forget all about it she was so encouraging and positive about life she was one of a kind.  I know my life was better having known her. I still remember the first time I ever met her she greeted me like if we had known eachother for years calling me mija like one of the family.  My heart is truly broken for her family she was very special to us I can imagine what she meant to them. Fly high my sweet friend you will forever be in my heart. Forever  friend ....Lisa

I worked with Maria at DCSS.  She was one of my fave people. Every morning I looked fwd to seeing her as she was the first person I saw when I walked into work and it always made my day to see her. She was always so bubbly and her smile and laugh were contagious. She was a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart and spirit. I loved seeing her face light up anytime she talked about her kids and grandkids. I absolutely adored her. Any time I needed a laugh, a smile, or to chat I knew just where to go. She was a bright light in this world. My heart is broken over her tragic passing. I wish I could give her a hug.  She is deeply missed. I'm so thankful our lives crossed paths.  My life is better for having known her. 

I had only known Lupita for 3 and a half months but grew to love her in that short time for the beautiful, loving, generous, and joyful person she was.  In that short time we started to develop a close friendship.  We worked closely together and shared many moments of laughter and fun.   She expressed in many ways how much she loved her family and her love for the Lord shined through in all she did.    Her joy was contagious.  I will deeply miss her and thank God for the time I was blessed to know her.

Lupita you were always so caring and you had such a wonderful laugh. You will be greatly missed. Rest in peace beautiful angel.

This is such a tragedy. Lupita, I cant stop hearing her happy, vibrant  and energetic voice. How did this happen to such a beautiful soul?  She LOVED LIFE its really heartbreaking to know this did not have to happen.  She was truly unique & its hard to explain her personality because I dont know anyone to compare her to, there is no one else  like her.  I wish everyone could have met her. I wish I loved life just half as much as she did.  People gave her energy and, she loved people. She was so proud of her 3 children and adored her grandkids. She was such a huge presense at work. Everyone will surely miss her, they already do. I pray her mother pulls through and I hope her children and grandkids can take comfort in knowing how much she was loved, truly.
