He was born in Tempe on March 21, 1959, to the late Manuel and Mary Marquez.
Joe worked for Sprout’s, in the warehouse, for over 15 years until he became ill.
He is survived by his companion of over 18 years, Debbie Varela, four children Priscilla Marquez, Joe Marquez, Danette Varela & Bryan Varela, three siblings Steve Marquez, Luci Cons & Lorenzo Marquez and three grandchildren Anthony, Ruben & Serenity.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 4-8 PM with a rosary at 7 PM, at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 10 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5614 W. Orangewood Avenue, Glendale. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
