Gary D. Hayes Jr.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Dean Hayes, Sr. and his grandmother Grace Kent.

Gary is survived by his wife of 17 years, Susan Hayes his children Michael, Brittany (husband Gilbert Morris) Alexis, Ryan and Tyler, his grandchildren Nathan and Kaylee, his mother Anna and step father Richard, sister Kristy, and his grandparents Ron and Jean Nordstrom. Gary took pride in his work being a branch sales manager. He loved to mentor people always offering any knowledge he could give. In his heart, finance was his passion and went on to earn an Associates of Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in finance.

He was a man of many hobbies and always did them to the best of his abilities. Gary had a love of fishing, hunting, camping, golfing, bowling, racing his RC cars and his beloved Dodge Challenger. Gary loved music and he loved it loud. He loved watching movies of all kinds with his family as well as entertaining with his love of food and especially Barbecuing. He was also a supporter of the Phoenix Coyotes being a season ticket holder. Gary loved to support the community by coaching his own kids sports teams and providing financial support to many others. Gary was a phenomenal man that will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to attend services on Friday, January 27, 2017 with a visitation from 10:00am to 12:00pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00pm all at West Resthaven Funeral Home 6450 W. Northern Avenue in Glendale. Gary will be laid to rest following services at Resthaven Park Cemetery also in Glendale.
