Eriberto Mendoza Sr.

Eriberto “Eddie” Mendoza, Sr., 73, of Glendale, AZ, passed away on April 11, 2017. He was born on July 2, 1943 in Phoenix, AZ to the late Hilario and Abundia Mendoza. Eddie served with the 82nd Airborne in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God serving as a Councilman with the Royal Rangers. Eddie enjoyed camping, fishing and shooting. He is survived by his wife Betty, Glendale, four children; Eddie (Ginnie) Mendoza, Jr. & Ann (Walter) Hilleger of Ehrenberg, AZ, Michael (Teresa) Mendoza, Colton, CA and Lorrie (Kevin) Smith, Glendale. Eddie is also survived by a brother Johnny Mendoza, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Mary Quintero and a brother Joe Mendoza. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 10-11AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale, funeral services will begin at 11AM. Burial with military honors will take place at 1:30PM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
