Eagle Ray Stockton

Eagle was born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky on January 21, 1946, to Robert Stockton and Mary Stockton. He went to school and grew up in South Bend, Indiana where he met his former wife Barbara Sparks, and had 6 children before moving to Arizona in 1981. There he met Joyce, his sweetie to who he was devoted for over 28 years. Eagle is a veteran of the U.S. Army and, in his latest role, worked as a network engineer and retired from American Express. While in retirement, Eagle enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with their children, grandchildren, and dogs.

Eagle is reunited and resting with his parents Robert and Mary Stockton and his brother Roger Stockton.

Eagle is survived by his wife, Joyce, his siblings: Veachel Stockton (Donna), and Rita Quinn (Bob), children: Michelle Sparkes (Jim), Michael Stockton, Marie Ritchey, Robert Stockton (Sarah), Christopher Stockton, Mark Stockton (Cara), Kevin Williams (Sheila), Kelly Burns (Mark), as well as 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Eagle will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 1:00 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home (6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301).
