He is survived by his wife of forty years, Marj, children Russell, Debra, Donna (Jim), Margo (George), Scott (Karen) and Brian (Annette), grandchildren April, Alisha, Travis, Jason, Chris, Heidi, Joseph, Venessa, Matthew, Brianne and Joshua, and seventeen great grandchildren.
Don will be remembered for being a genuine guy, and his ability to fix or make anything. He loved old engines and working on them. Don enjoyed traveling and taking cruises. The place he felt most at peace was the farm. He would travel back to New York every summer to the farm he grew up on, and just take it all in. You could find him bailing hay and driving on the tractor. He loved it so much; it was hard to get him to come in for lunch some days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 2:00PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home 6450 W. Northern Avenue in Glendale.
