Arlene Esther Wiensch, age 85, passed away on January 26, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona. She was born on July 18, 1937 to the late John and Leonna (Jarchow) Steen in Greenwood Township, Wisconsin. She attended Rib Lake High School and was part of the graduating class of 1955. Arlene worked as a secretary for the military. She married Herbert David Wiensch on February 23, 1956.
Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and preparing large meals. She also enjoyed trips to the casino and video poker, where she was frequently a winner.
Arlene was proceeded in her death by her loving husband Herbert David Wiensch on April 29, 2011, by her mother and father John & Leona Steen and her three siblings.
She was survived by her four children, Cheryl Walton (Curtis), Karen O’Brien, Curtis Wiensch, and Dennis Wiensch (Jeanne); her grandchildren Ryan Wiensch, Samantha Wiensch, Ahmie Wiensch, Jeremy Wiensch, and Rebecca Wiensch; as well as three great grandchildren.
A family gathering is scheduled at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary for Friday February 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
