Albert was a man of great faith. A man who feared the Lord, spoke of Christ’s love, and embraced the Father’s grace. His faith shook the heavens when he prayed. He taught his sons not with eloquence of speech, but rather a soft confidence, modeling how to love. Knowing full well all he possessed did not belong to him, but was borrowed from his heavenly Father above. Knowing that only the son of God could save. This man of great faith knew no condemnation in his failures or mistakes. He knew he was forgiven because the Son of God took his place.
Always concerned for the well being of others, always giving, and hospitable, Albert’s heart filled with joy as he gave of himself and gave love to those around him. Nothing seemed to belong to him, possessions belonged to others. It was truly a privilege to know him and experience someone who was willing to give out the kind of love you can only hope to receive from others and watch as they received that love and blessed him in return.
Albert will be greatly missed, but his family knows that they will see him again one day in heaven. Until the day that they can be rejoined, Albert leaves his wife Kathy, sons Jason, Nathan, Eli, and Isaac, and 12 grandchildren to cherish his memory and follow his example. They will continue to love others, love God with all their hearts, and live by faith just as Albert did. As he said, “Don’t you know that you don’t live by your feelings, but you live by faith.” So whatever life brings us, we should live by faith.
A Celebration of Albert’s Life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ.
