Tom passed away peacefully on April 21, 2024 after a 5 year battle with cancer. Tom was born in Kansas City, MO on October 29, 1945 to Veryl and Cuma (Wright) Randolph. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1963, where he made many life-long friends. Tom loved baseball and played from the age of 8. He played and coached for the Western Auto team in the Ban Johnson League in Kansas City. He continued playing through college at the University of Southern Colorado, where he played in the College World Series two years while earning his degree. After college he joined the Army Reserves where he served for 6 years.
On March 1, 1969, he married Beth, his wife of 55 years. They enjoyed a full life of travel and many great times with friends and family. Tom was a family man. He was so proud of his daughters, Julie and Amy Randolph. He loved the Lake of the Ozarks, where they had a home for many years. Tom loved people and they loved him.
He joined Mobil Oil Credit Corp. in 1969 and worked there in various positions for 32 years. He was instrumental in the formation of the Mobil Oil Credit Bank and specialized in fraud prevention. After his retirement at the age of 55 he started his own consulting business and continued for 20 years. He loved his work and all of the people he met along the way. He helped many small and large businesses reduce the cost of accepting credit cards and was called upon to be an expert witness on many occasions for his expertise.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his brother J. D., and many aunts and uncles and other beloved family members. He is survived by his wife Beth, daughters, Julie Randolph and Amy Randolph, both of Kansas City, and many treasured family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He will also be sorely missed by his beloved grand dogs, Archie and Mac.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Saturday, April 27 at Oak Ridge Family Social Club, 5330 NE Oak Ridge Drive, Kansas City, MO 64119. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m., followed by a short service and lunch.
